Forwarding to external numbers in SRST

Hi

In a small branch office the main number is forwarded (via CCM! Not directly on the router!) to the Call Center. In SRST (v3.3) mode I did not find any solution for this.

It would also be nice if the default-destination or forward noan / busy could be forwarded to an external number.

Does anybody have an idea? Is there any workaround for this?

thx in advance

Re: Forwarding to external numbers in SRST

Stephan,

This should work. You will just need a dial peer that the destination number can match such as:

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 9T

port 0/1:23 (This will vary based on PSTN access)

call-manager-fallback

default-destination 95551111

call-forward busy 95552222

call-forward noan 95553333

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Re: Forwarding to external numbers in SRST

Brandon,

For the busy / noan and default-destination it works fine. (i thougt i tested this before opening this discussion.)

I still have the problem, that the main number xxxxxxx777 should be forwarded to 9xxxxxxx888. This is normally done by the callmanager. We do not want to configure it directly on the router. The alias command cannot be forwarded to an external number. Any idea for this problem?
