How can i arrive at the fragmentation size and subsequently the fragmentation delay to be configured on a output interface when i am using MLPPP over a slow link? The purpose of fragmenation here is to see to that voice traffic does not get delayed for longer periods because of huge data packets. What are the factors that need to be considered when determining these two parameters?
I can't find it on CCO but there is a guide that is published with recommended fragment sizes. As the link speed increases, so does the fragment size. As an example, at 56K the recommended size is 70Bytes, 64=80, 128=160 etc. etc. I've also have serialization delay numbers. If you contact me I can provides this information to you.
