Fragmentation for voice without interface multilink?

I've got a customer with a router that connects a

large number of sites with some somewhat

small links (<256kbps). Fragmentation is required

in addition to a priority queue within CBWFQ.

The interfaces can't be cloned from a virtual-

template, and the only other method of fragmenting

I've found is within multilink PPP. Doing this

means creating an interface MULTILINK for each

of the sites, thus creating a small hell to

maintain the config.

Is there any way to fragment other than through

multilink ppp, or to turn on ppp fragmentation

from the physical interface without having to

create the separate multilink interface per site?

Thanks...

You’re right on the money, multilink PPP is the only other option, and it has to be configured for all sites on multilink interfaces. Sorry to have to bring bad news :)
