Full database Utility from Answer Monkey

Does this utility care about the ORG name change in Exchange or SID on users. I have got a POV system. I reinsall it as member server and join an existing Domain with users coming from the new Domain. I install Exchange with the differnt ORG name on the Unity box and Finally Unity. I want to use the Full datbase utility to backup the Unity and restore it on the new rebuild Unity box. <br>Would that work...<br>If not how can I just save the subscribers greetings and settings regardless of their ties to exchange since I am changing the ORG name and joing a new domian with new user. <br><br>Sean Poure<br>NEC-Voice Engineering<br>Sr. Aplication Engineer<br>714 4846275<br>

yes, this should work. No, the full backup/restore utility doesn't care about the ORG or the SID etc... is uses the alias property to determine if it needs to use existing Exchange users or create new users on the fly.

Read the help carefully... it explains this in detail.
