Function Traditional PABX Integration to CCM

Hi,

I got a requirement for integration of CCM to a traditional PABX over an E1 QSig link. The requirement is that for some users with two phones one traditional and the other a Cisco IP phone; when the user pushes the follow-me button on the traditional phone that it informs the corresponding IP Phone on the Cisco Phone System to forward all calls to the traditional phone. Is this possible?

Thanks

Re: Function Traditional PABX Integration to CCM

Mmm, very interesting post.

It will be ok to check which message the PABX will send over Q.SIG to notify the CCM in order to update the DB for forward info...

Take a look at Call diversion...could be helpful

Call Diversion is a feature available for 4.0 in Q.SIG

Cisco CallManager uses Call Diversion (Forward) by forward switch

Cisco CallManager supports: SS-CFU (Call Forward Unconditional/ Call Forward All), SS-CFB (Call Forward Busy), SS-CFNR (Call Forward No Reply/Call Forward No Answer).
