Re: FW ports to open for IP Communicator

Hi Todd,

IP Communicator uses TCP 2000, and UDP 16384-32767.

Check this search;

http://tools.cisco.com/search/JSP/search-results.get?isFormSubmit=true&strqueryid=&country=US&language=en&websessionid=&strCurrentSimilarSearchBreadCrumb=&strCurrentSelectedModifierValues=&strQueryText=Cisco+Communications+Manager+TCP+and+UDP+Port+Us...

This link shows the TCP and UDP Ports used on the various CCM Versions;

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/sec_vir/udp_tcp/index.htm

Hope this helps!

Rob

Re: FW ports to open for IP Communicator

Ok, I can VPN in and I can get VM, make internal calls,receive calls but when I go to dial external, I dial 8, get my second dial tone but after I enter the the last digit of the number , my display clears and I am left with my soft-keys. I select new call and repeat but always after the last digit it drops the call. Any ideas?

If you have them enabled, have you checked the CDR's to see the cause code for your failed calls?
