Hi,
I am trying to configure a 2801 router as a H.323 gateway using a FXO vic.
Outbound connections work fine, my problems started when configuring the incoming side. I have set up two POTS dial-peers:
dial-peer voice 100 pots
destination-pattern 9T
progress_ind alert enable 8
progress_ind progress enable 8
progress_ind connect enable 8
port 0/0/0
!
dial-peer voice 101 pots
incoming called-number .
direct-inward-dial
port 0/0/0
and there is a voip peer that points to ccm:
!
dial-peer voice 60021 voip
preference 1
destination-pattern 60028...
voice-class codec 1
voice-class h323 1
session target ipv4:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
fax rate disable
no vad
In the voice-port, I have configured a plar:
voice-port 0/0/0
compand-type a-law
connection plar 60028008
So far so good, I think. When I try and ring the line, I get ringing tones for a second, then beeps rapidly (Fast busy?).
The DN that I have used in the plar statement does not ring at all.
Doing a 'debug voip dialpeer all' reveals that the plar is trying to make the connection:

Has anyone got any idea of what i've missed? I'm assuming its something simple.
Thanks in advance

I take it you have an H323 bind src address on one of the interfaces, it looks like it must be at the Callmanager end, partition or calling search space for the gateway.
what happens if you don't have the plar command, can you manually dial the number. that is when you dial into the site you get another dial tone from the fxo card, then you can dial any number

Hi,
Thanks for replying. I do have the commands;
h323-gateway voip interface
h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr 159.xxx.xxx.xxx
in the ethernet interface.
Just double-checking the plar thing now. I do remember getting a second dial-tone when I first set it up, but I will check what happens after that
be right back.

Ok,
I checked the CSS and found it was missing a partition.
Thanks very much for your help!
