I have a problem with one of my fxo ports sometimes it won't display the caller-id of a call. I tried to connect a caller-id device (telco owned) between the telco line and the fxo port to check if the caller-id device won't also display the caller-id. I found out that the telco caller-id device is consistent in displaying the caller-id. So i concluded that it is on the router side that is causing the problem. I have already swapped fxo cards but still i continue to encounter the problem.
Could the problem be on the IOS? If somebody knows the solution kindly help.
