FXO not Accepting digits

Dear all

THis is an extremly urgent issue and need to be resolved asap.

I have a IPT network with CCM 4.2,Cisco Unity Connection 1.2,Voice Gateway 2821 with FXO ports.

here is the call flow,

The user calls from outside is directed to CCM route point 9001 which directs the call to unity call handler

acting as IVR .

Now the problem i am having is that if somebody calls from outside and the IVR is played asking the

user to input the digits ,if the user presses an extension the IVR continues to play and the digits are not accepted.

Now why are the digits not accepted ??? and if continue to press numbers some of the time the IVR says u have

dialed incorrect extension. But basically it is not accepting digits.

VERY IMP Thing: This is only happening when i am calling from a land line

if i call from any mobile network to IPT network ,it never happens and everything works perfect.IVR is ok and extension dialing

is ok.

I am attaching the config of my gateway .Please have a look .May be i am missing some commands.

regards

Re: FXO not Accepting digits

Nouman,

I don't see your configuration attached. Are you using MGCP or H.323 on the gateway. One thing to check is dtmf relay. If you're using H.323, you should have "dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric" in dial peer configuration for the dial peer pointing to Unity. If you're using MGCP, you should have the command "mgcp dtmf-relay voip codec all mode out-of-band" in global config.

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.
