FXO port config for an H323 gateway using CCM 4.2

Hi,

I'm configuring a 2811 gateway using H323 that has 4 x PSTN lines which carries the same DDI number. This will then use call manager to distribute the call to an end user phone.

Firstly - do I need to configure the FXO ports as a plar connection with the DDI number?

Secondly - for an outbound dial peer, will I have to give all of my destination patterns 4 preferences as to which voice-port to use??

1.Correct, configure the plar under voice-port then your VOIP dial-peers.

2. You can do it and I would say it is a best practice.
