FXO Port Problem

Hi Frenz

I am have intalled a gateway with 12 FXO ports and is configured as a MGCP gateway.

I have configured the fxo ports through CCM and given the attendant DN ..

Now i am facing a problem .If anyone call from outside it will ring on the Attendant DN but even if no one answer the call the outside caller is being billed by the PSTN provider.

Please lemme know if anyone has come across such an issue.

Hi Jaleel,

Which IOS version and CCM version you are running?

It may be related to these DDTS, they explain why the FXO port is transitionint to OFF-HOOK state.

Are you using LS or GS?

mgcp ls endpoints should not go offhook until connect.

Externally found enhancement defect: New (N)

need plar opx functuality with mgcp for analog loop start trunks.

You can configure the gateway as H.323 with connection plar opx command.
