I have two sites that want to run VOIP. Main site is a 2610 with a FXO card, the remote site is a 1751 with a FXO card. Each location has a PBX( key system). The question I have will this work and what kind of configuration I need to site-up. Also each site wants to be able to transfer calls. And want type of setup needed on the Key Systems.

Thanks

Keith

With fxo at both sites you only options is to get dial tone back and dail the number or you can use a connection plar statement under the voice ports so when you access that trunk it will go off hook and do and automatic ring down to a number you specified. Key systems don't usally have extensions. Can you eloborate on your setup a little bit.

Thank you,

the problem with fxo-fxo call is how to interrupt the call.

You call to fxo, dial peer voice call the remote peer, then the call set up. When the call finished, the fxo remain in off hook state. The supervisory disconnect tone is one option, but is not available in all IOS versions.

Thanks
