I configured trunk group with FXO ports with the config below. After a outgoing call is made through each voice-port, no further calls can be made (get a busy tone). In the "sh trunk group" output, I see that there is no free trunks available. The "sh voice port summ" shows me that the voice-ports are up/dorm/idle which is fine. Only way to again make calls is to remove the trunk-group command from the voice-port and again add it.
Anyone faced this problem before, and can please check if my config needs any additions. I tried with all available "hunt-schemes", still I get the same problem.
Relevant Config:-
---------------
trunk group FXO-PORTS
max-calls voice 1000
hunt-scheme round-robin
voice-port 1/0/0
trunk-group FXO-PORTS 1
signal groundStart
!
voice-port 1/0/1
trunk-group FXO-PORTS 2
signal groundStart
dial-peer voice 9191 pots
trunkgroup FXO-PORTS
destination-pattern 911
prefix 911
Output before making any calls:-
------------------------------
DALLAS#sh trunk group
Trunk group: FXO-PORTS
Description:
trunk group label: FXO-PORTS
Translation profile (Incoming):
Translation profile (Outgoing):
Hunt Scheme is round-robin
Max Calls (Incoming): NOT-SET (Any) 1000 (Voice) NOT-SET (Data)
Max Calls (Outgoing): NOT-SET (Any) 1000 (Voice) NOT-SET (Data)
Retries: 0
Trunk 1/0/0 Preference 1
Total channels available : 1
Data = 0, Voice = 0, Pending = 0, Free = 1
Trunk 1/0/1 Preference 2
Total channels available : 1
Data = 0, Voice = 0, Pending = 0, Free = 1
Total calls for trunk group: Data = 0, Voice = 0, Pend = 0, Free = 2
Current trunk : None Selected
Outputs after making two calls, one through each port:-
----------------------------------------------------
DALLAS#sh trunk group
Trunk group: FXO-PORTS
Description:
trunk group label: FXO-PORTS
Translation profile (Incoming):
Translation profile (Outgoing):
Hunt Scheme is round-robin
Max Calls (Incoming): NOT-SET (Any) 1000 (Voice) NOT-SET (Data)
Max Calls (Outgoing): NOT-SET (Any) 1000 (Voice) NOT-SET (Data)
Retries: 0
Trunk 1/0/0 Preference 1
Total channels available : 1
Data = 0, Voice = 1, Pending = 0, Free = 0
Trunk 1/0/1 Preference 2
Total channels available : 1
Data = 0, Voice = 1, Pending = 0, Free = 0
Total calls for trunk group: Data = 0, Voice = 2, Pend = 0, Free = 0
Current trunk : 1/0/1
As you can see here Free = 0, so I cannot make any new outgoing calls.
Thanks,
Partha
