fxs help!!

Hi,

I have a 3640 with a NM-2V module. One slot in the module has an FXS card. I have signaling set to loopstart and ring frequency set to 50. When I plug in the phone a "SELFTEST" text comes up and then the phone is blank. The phone has a digital display. It is an Ericsson consono MD110. I am not sure if this phone qualifies has a "standard" phone. Any help will be appreciated.
