G.703 Card Installation

I have a WAN link between our two sites is coming up that will terminate on VWIC-2MFT-G703 card on both sides. I have 2811 on both sides. When I installed the G703 card, it showed up as E1 controller. For its initialization, I issued the following commands under E1 controller configuration:

channel-group 0 unframed

linecode hdb3

clock source internal

Doing so created a serial interface on the router. I gave the IP to this interface. Do I need to do anything else before terminating the circuit?? Thank You in advance.

Hi

This minimal config is enough to get started..

Once you have ur line terminated you can check the status of the line including errors/reliability etc.,
