I have two sites. Within the sites are G.711 and between the sites are G.729. I have configured DSP on the central voice router to have hardware conferece bridge successfully register with CCM. But however when I tried to do either ad hoc or meet me, conference across the WAN still didn't work.
Here is my related configuration on the router:
voice-card 2
dspfarm
dsp services dspfarm
sccp local FastEthernet0/0
sccp
sccp ccm 10.197.4.34 priority 1
sccp ccm 10.197.4.30 priority 2
dspfarm confbridge maximum sessions 3
dspfarm
And dsp is registered on the CCM.
Thanks

Hi,
I had this last week. The way I got around things was to put the conference bridge in the remote device pool, and add an IOS transcoder (dspfarm transcoder maximum sessions 12) to the central router. The transcoder should be in the central Device Pool. This way, if a meet me is initiated from a remote phone, the hardware CFB is used, and if a meet me is enabled from a central phone, CCM will use transcoder resources to talk to the remotes. Works with a combination of both XCODE and Hardware CFB quite well. Just remember the device pool memberships.

Thanks guys.
I actually hit a bug for version 12.2.15T. I upgraded to 12.2.15T8. It works with the same configuration.
