Jim,<br><br>Just wanted to confirm that the issue regarding G.729 support is not technical. It is a legal issue. I have several customers that want to use a centralized CCM and Unity and will use the G.729 throughout the network. Any thoughts on this.<br><br>Thanks.<br><br>

Yeah, it's a legal thing. The question is how can we (or can we) distribute an installable codec for G729a that folks can install on their Windows clients that aren't also running VMO (which we can license individually). We have to pay for the codec redistribution rights, it's just one of those things...

This has been in legal's hands for a while now... I don't know which side of the fence it's hung up on. I'll nag for an update.
