G723, device specific calls with CCM TAPI

Hi,

I had developed a full-feature calling card system, the only problem now is it can only talk G711.

I digged into Cisco's TAPI development guide and found that I need to send device specific calls to have G723. So, I did; constructed a very nice little DLL so I can use it under VB too!

But, more problem comes. Under G723, I can never seems to get wave/in and wave/out devices thru lineGetID. TAPI replied device not available. Remove device specific calls, everything works again but only G711. The wave/in and wave/out is crucial for playing prompts, etc; so it must be there.

Is there something I missed here? Any programmer out there that had experience with this?
