Garbled voice w/VG200 transcoder

We have been having significant problems with a VG200 and transcoding. We are using centralized CM servers with centralized Unity and several remote sites. When callers from a G.729 region leave voice mails, sometimes the message is very garbled. It's not choppy like a QoS problem and we don't have any quality problems on site-to-site calls across the WAN. I also heard a report today of garbling with a conference call at a remote site, which also goes through the VG200. The problem has been consistent with both 12.1(5)YH1 and 12.1(5)YH2.

I've had a TAC case open for over a week but was just wondering if anybody else was experiencing similar problems?
