Gatekeeper bandwidth remote or bandwidth interzone

The gatekeeper configured one local zone and one remote zone. We will use gatekeeper bandwidth CAC for controlling the number of calls from local zone to remote zone.

In this case, which bandwidth command I should use. Bandwidth remote or bandwidth interzone? Is there any difference between those two commands in this case?

Thanks,

JJ

Re: Gatekeeper bandwidth remote or bandwidth interzone

bandwidth {interzone | total | session} {default | zone zone-name} bandwidth-size

This command allows you to specify the maximum aggregate bandwidth for H.323 traffic and verify the available bandwidth of the destination gatekeeper.

1) Are you trying to do this

To specify maximum bandwidth for traffic between one zone and any other zone, use the default keyword with the interzone keyword.

2) or this

To specify maximum bandwidth for traffic within one zone or for traffic between that zone

and another zone (interzone or intrazone), use the default keyword with the total keyword.
