I need to setup a form of call administration control in a network I have setup of 4 Gatekeepers. I have at present routing configured on a network with FXS and e-phone deployment. The network is a deployable solution and I have setup a GW and GK on each router.
I have been looking at setting up some trunks from each gatekeeper so I can limit calls and re-route on congestion. The problem I am having is I can only find documentation pointing to Call Manager materiel. The network I have only has CME install onto it and I have no Call Manager!
Can someone point me to or advise me on how to configure the trunks and add Call Admission Control?
CME would be all H.323 so they don't really call it CAC. Using the bandwidth command under Gatekeeper config is probably what you are looking for. Then use "session target ras" under your dial-peer v x voip.
Note, be sure to hard set the codec.. using a voice class codec will always allocate the highest value.

the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
