Gatekeeper zone prefix

I many zone prefix in config.

Can I use zon prefix with differen lenght and pointing to different gk?

And can I use short less specific number for most calls with one gk and use more specific number for another one?

For example

zone prefix gk1 415*

zone prefix gk2 4157777*

Yes, but the gatekeeper is going to try and send the call to the most specific zone prefix first. If you put the 2 lines you show in your message into your gatekeeper, you'll notice that the most specific one appears first in the zone prefix lines and then the less specific one will appear after it. Now, there is behavior in the gatekeeper which says that if you have a call coming in 4157777xxx, then the gatekeeper will use your line zone prefix gk2 4157777* . However, if that zone (gk2) does not have sufficient resources or your gatekeeper can't talk to it for whatever reason, then the gatekeeper will NOT take the call back and try to use zone prefix gk1 415* to send the call out.

Anyone on this forum know anything contridictory to this????
