General question regarding the PC port on the IP Phone
I need to know what is the restriction on the PC port that comes on the Cisco IP Phones. I mean, if I connect a computer, I get an IP address via DHCP and get Internet access through the IP Phones, through the LAN and finally to the Internet....
But, if I connect a Cisco Switch to the PC port on the IP Phone, to connect more devices (all belonging to the same VLAN), I don't get IP addresses for the devices attached to the Switch.
In other words, I know there should be a reason why is it called a ''PC port'' meaning that you can only connect a PC to that port.... but my question is what is the restriction and if there's a way around it?
