General VOIP Design Questions

I have a customer that wants to use a point-to-point microwave system which hands off and an E1 interface at each end. This communications path will be providing data as well as voice connectivity. At either end they will have a 2600 series router that the E1's will terminate into. Also within the same routers they want to have a T1 interface that will have 8 channels to an Adtran TA750 with 8 FXO's / 8 FXS's(Far side) to a key system. The question is, can the customer use a VWIC-2MFT-T1-DI card in the two routers bringing in the E1 to one interace and channeling off the voice channels to a T1 on the second interface? Can you do an add/drop with an E1 in and a T1 out? Also is there any design / config considerations to keep in mind? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
