Does anybody know if there is any call acccounting software that uses the
"call-history-mib" from the router to calculate call charges in conjunction with the CDR recordes from the Cisco CallManager.
most call accounting software I have seen seem to rely on Telco supplied charge tables

There is a accounting solution called Cisco Enterprise Accounting (CEA). Even this uses the mib, call-history-mib for the billing purposes.
The following document can shed some light on it:

Hi,
Does CEA provide an satisfactory solution for billing purposes in your opinion. Do you use it?
Thanks in advance for your help

I have heard of CEA, thats where I found out about the MIB.
But is that still a current product???
Also it seems that it has to run on a Sparc station, which would not be good news for my customers
thanks
