Getting CME 3.2 to send # and *

Our Telecom supplier has a service which was used with the previous phone system and naturally we want the same service to be available with CME ( We have 4xFXO lines but one main number ).

The user would dial the following in order to forward all calls made to the main number to an external number. E.g.:

1) *21*077712345678# all calls would be sent to 077712345678

And to switch this service off:

2) #21#

I can get the router to send 1) but not 2) I want to be able to send the # to the Telecom switch and for it not to be interpreted as an "end of digits" signal to the GW.

Is there a way of changing this default action?

Here is the translation-rule I have been playing with:

1111 - is the PIN number that has to be sent with the request - but this should be transparent to the user.

voice translation-rule 4

rule 5 /^\(\*21\)\(1111\)\(\*\)\(.*\)\(\#\)/ /\1\2\3\4\5/

rule 6 /^\(\*21\)\(\*\)\(.*\)/ /\1111\2\3/

rule 7 /^\(\#21\)\(\#\)/ /\11111\2/

rule 8 /^\(\#211111\)\(\#\)/ /\1\2/

!

!

voice translation-profile BT_Service

translate called 4

!

dial-peer voice 1 pots

translation-profile outgoing BT_Service

destination-pattern *21T

no digit-strip

port 0/0/3

!

dial-peer voice 2 pots

translation-profile outgoing BT_Service

destination-pattern #21T

no digit-strip

port 0/0/3
