Getting echo on a voip call from just one side. One side of call is hearing there own vioce echo.

Have 3640 and 1750 Routers with 64k PPP link between them. The person at the 3640 end is hearing there voice echo. The 1750 side of the call is fine.

The problem is on the c1750 side. Echo is a problem when the RX path

leaks into the TX path and its detected at the remote-end. So echo is always a problem at the ananlog tail circuit.

1. Do you have echo canceller enabled under the voice-port at

the c1750 router.

2. Are you connected to a PBX via e&M. If yes is the impedance setting correctly matched.

3. is QOS enabled in both directions to properly prioritize voice ,as increase end-to-end delay increase the effect of echo.
