I have to replace my primary HD on my Subscriber Call Manager and just wondering what the best way to do it is? I figured on simply Ghost the primary HD to a second one and then putting the replacement in and ghost back the image and reboot.
Well depending on your hardware, if you have a HD array, you can just replace the drive per the raid specification, if your on a 7825 with a single drive, ghosting is an option, although unsupported ( of course) by Cisco. The other option is to replace the harddrive in the subscriber, and just rebuild the server, remember the subscriber will pull the ccm database from the publisher, there are some prep steps which you will need to complete this process(of course).
On think to keep in mind is make sure you have a sound proof upgrade path with a failsafe backup plan.
