Global directory search limits for results

CM 3.2 2c, SP E. We have 1000 phones and users. When we do a global directory search in call manager with no specifics items for the search, the results are limited to the first 500 entries (creation) even if 1000 users has been created. Is it normal? If yes, can we change this?Thank you in advance.

Yes, this sounds to me as if it's working as per the design. The reason is to prevent resource overutilization, as searches with a large number of results can be very expensive in terms of system resources.

Cisco CallManager 3.3 allows this behavior to be disabled, in the Enterprise Parameters page.
