GSM codec in MGCP controlled Gateway from PGW 2200
Currently we are performing a test using PGW 2200 to integrate a SIP server with PSTN. We control an AS5300 mediagateway through MGCP version 1.0.
I would like to know if it is possible that the SIP User Agents use GSM to encode the voice calls, which are established against the MGCP controlled MediaGateway. I have tried the whole steps mentioned to setup the codec selection within PGW with no success. (I followed the steps from Media Gateway Controller Dial Plan Guide).
