GSM GW & IP phone - transparent features

Hi,

I have ECOTEL VoIP GSM GW and Cisco Call Manager 6.1.

GSM GW is upgraded to the newest firmware version (5.1.13) and I tested some features like adaptive callback, call on hold, transfer,... For the most of this features you need to dial some digits before hanging up.

And on Cisco IP phones you have softkeys for that functions - you just need to press the softkey.

My question is: is it somehow possible to press the softkey on cisco IP phone instead of dialing digits to make a call transfer?

Or any other way to make it transparent to the end user whether he is calling via normal voice gateway or via GSM gateway.

Any help would be appreciated.

BR,

Jelena

You can create a phone service that sends keypad presses to the phone to dial DTMF digits. However, you can't put custom softkeys on the Call plane - you can only control softkeys in Services. So either you'll need to go into Services and invoke the app from the menu or wait for Parche where you'll be able to invoke a phone service from an unused line appearance button.
