H.225.0 ver 4 setup message

Hi all,

I have been decoding a H225.0 ver 4 message and came across the encoding for the countrycode, according to the T.35 standard. In the SETUP-UUIE (inide the H323-uu-pdu message), the encoding includes the t35countrycode parameter, and gives it a value of 0xB5 (United States). However, inside the extension encoing of H323-uu-pdu, there is a parameter nonStandardControl, and that also includes the t35countrycode parameter. This time the value is 0x58 (Israel).

I have checked the H.225.0 ver. 4 standard, and it doesn't say whether or not this is OK. Does anyone know whether this is OK? The reason is calls from our EP to the GW are currently failing, and this may be one of the reasons (although we have identified a separate reason). The only other message in IP Telephony that has a message displaying this has both country codes as the same.

Any comment appreciated.

regards,

Matthew.

There are some limitations with respect to the version 4 support. Look at this techtip. Might help you
