Working on a customer site that gains PSTN access via analog loop start trunks. LEC does not offer digital service. We are not receiving any digits from the LEC on the analog trunks.
We muxed the 14 channels onto a T1 CAS circuit (using a TA-750) that is handed to the 2821 gateway with a 2-port MFT-T1 VWIC. We did this to avoid building a gateway with 14 FXO ports. The gateway is configured as H.323.
The channels are then distributed among seven ds0-groups according to the type of services or business units those groups correspond to. The dial-peer configs for each of the specific ds0-group voice-ports contain a connection plar xxxx where xxxx is an exact match to a hunt pilot on CCM.
Seven hunt pilots were created in call manager 4.1(3)sr3, each of which broadcast inbound calls to all of the eleven call takers.
Our goals are:
1) Inbound calls from the channels in each ds0-group should ring direct to the associated hunt pilot, which in turn should ring all eleven attendants simultaneously (broadcast).
2) We need to identify which ds0-group the call is being sent from so that the attendants can answer the calls appropriately. Currently, we are sending the lead number, but the customer would like to have it show the business unit name instead.
