Hello..

If I have a NM-HDV-1T1-24 module on a 2650 router that has 2 PVDM-12s, can I add an addtional 3 PVDM-12s to this module and use those strictly for conference calling?

When you create the pri-group, the dsp's needed to service all of the channels will be automatically allocated, this is 2 PVDM's (6 DSP's).

Here is a link that touches on dspfarm DSP usage:

See the section "Planning for the Number of DSPs Installed"

Yes, this will work fine.

What are the restrictions on how they have to be divided up? There would have to be enough for the PSTN gateway access, so how many would that leave me for conferencing? Assume all calls on the are G.711.

Thanks,

Colin
