Help: Dual switch integration with Unity 4.0, using Dialogic cards problem.
We have successfully installed Unity 4.0.2 and integrated into CCM. However the integration to a Definity is proving more difficult. When the second integration was added it stopped the Unity server from booting. After a great number of re-boots (in safe mode) the server finally booted (having removed the dialogic software) but Unity would not start. The latest dialogic software (version 6) was then installed from Intel's site and Unity would start perfectly. HOWEVER, in the dialogic configuration manager screen the boards are not present (although seen by windows). If we try to add the boards to enable creation of a second integration, Unity stops! Without the boards in DCM we are not able to create the Definity integration. What do we need to do?
Re: Help: Dual switch integration with Unity 4.0, using Dialogic
The Dialogic software shipped with Unity is customized by Cisco. Software straight from Intel will be missing many bug fixes and custom components required by Unity. At a minimum, you'll need to uninstall the v.6 Dialogic software, along with it's associated TSP and wave driver. Then reinstall using the Cisco Unity CDs. At this point however you might consider rebuilding the system for scratch. I don't have any insight to what went awry in your first go around but you're definitely in a bad place now.
