Help with Conf Bridge


Im new to IP Telephony, so please keep your responses simple for me to understand. I have a location with about 50 users. 10 more users were just added, giving a total of 60 users in one location. The 10 new users cannot use conferencing on their phones. When the press the Conf sofkey, the phone says No Conference Bridge.

However, the original 50 can use conferencing no problem.

What are the steps I should take to add these users so they may conference calls on their 7940s. I am using CM 3.3.

Sounds like that the 10 users that were just added do not have the Conference bridge set up in their Media Resource Group List. Check the Device Pool that the 10 new phones belong to and see if it has a choice for the Media Resource Group List. It should match the other 50. If the 10 new phones are in the same location you may want to try just adding those phones to the same device pool the other phones are in. Write back if you need explicit instructions
