Help with Using CiscoURLProxy

Shrenikk from Cisco said

add these two lines

Inet1.Proxy = "your_proxy_server:proxy_port";

Inet1.ProxyType = 2;.

after this line - Inet1 = new ActiveXObject("CiscoURLProxy.URLGrabber");

Where my question is

I have an application which retrieving the stock data from the net. I have included the 2 lines that you mentioned above but there was nothing appeared on my IP phone screen except the the title and prompt. What else I should check on this? And, is that correct that I use port number of 80 for my proxy server?

Thanks for any suggestion.

Re: Help with Using CiscoURLProxy

The best reference for this would be the Cisco IP Services Software Development Kit (SDK). It has the User guide of the usage of CiscoURLProxy.This is available online at:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/570/avvid/voice_ip/cm_xml/downloads/CiscoURLProxy.rtf

Please make sure that, you mention the port number properly.

I feel this is a programming issue, hence for more help, you could go for the develpers support program

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/570/

Hope this helps.
