Yes,
Put a dummy number on the softkey (I assume you mean speed dial)
configure a new route list (dummy-translate_rl) which contains the route group for your gateway.
configure a route pattern for the dummy number and point it a the new route list
in the route list convert the number to what you want.
If you do the conversion in the route pattern the users can see it, but if you do it in the route list they can't.
