We have recently installed Unity 4.0(2), VMail only. The server is a member server and at time of installation was the 1st E2K in the domain. A new E2K server has now been installed in the domain and when Outlook users look in contacts they see email and vmail accounts for the same person. Is there anyway I can hide the Unity storage group so that the new email server can't see vmail accounts?

you can hide mailboxes from the address book such that they wont show up in the Outlook application - in 4.0(3) you can do this from the SA and BulkEdit - for 4.0(2) and earlier you'll have to do it from AD. To do this go to ADUC, select properties for a user and on the "Exchange Advanced" tab select to "Hide from exchange address list". You can do the same thing with public distribution lists...

Thanks for replying.
We don't have an "Exchange Advanced" tab under ADUC. We do however plan to upgrade to 4.0(3)in the very near future so will probably wait until then.
Thanks again.

to see advanced features (including the "Exchange Advanced" tab) you need to select "Advanced Features" from the view drop down menu in the Active Directory User and Computers applet...
