High Jitter going through 2611 MGCP gateway.

I have 6 phones on a 3524-pwr switch with dot1p tagging on the switchports. Voice conversations are great on-net. However, when I go out the 2611 gateway to fxo analog trunks, I have some voice quality issues. If I press the "i" button twice while in a conversation, I get MaxJtr upwards of 180-190.

If I do a show voice call <port>, I get the following output:

voicegateway01# ***DSP VOICE VP_DELAY STATISTICS***

Clk Offset(ms): 0, Rx Delay Est(ms): 194

Rx Delay Lo Water Mark(ms): 64, Rx Delay Hi Water Mark(ms): 205

***DSP VOICE VP_ERROR STATISTICS***

Predict Conceal(ms): 175, Interpolate Conceal(ms): 0

Silence Conceal(ms): 35, Retroact Mem Update(ms): 0

Buf Overflow Discard(ms): 230, Talkspurt Endpoint Detect Err: 2

Interface counters on both 2611 and 3524 are clean. Any guesses?

Thanks.

Often times complex troubleshooting issues are best addressed in an interactive session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, it’s often difficult to do so for this type of issue.
