We recently upgraded form Callmanager 3.1(4b) to Callmanager 3.3(2)spC.
Now when you place a call on hold the person waiting on hold cannot hear the beeps that were there before. All you hear is silence. For various reasons we cannot use music on hold so, I really need to try and figure out how to get the hold tones working again. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Go to Services > Service Parameters > (choose your CM) Go to the CallManager service and look at the ToneOnHold time and see what it is set to. I think that 3.3 has some additional hold parameters in there, but I don't have one in front of me to look at. Anyway, I would start there.
Thank you for the suggestion. I have already looked into that, but everything is set to the default values. Still no hold tone. Music on hold works great but, as I posted previously we need the hold tone(beeps).
