How can I clear the counters for the output: sh call history voice

Hi everybody,

How can I clear the counters for the output:

sh call history voice

sh call history fax

I didn't find any "clear" command for this issue.

I try it with "clear counters" but it clears only all counters on all interfaces.

Regarding IOS:

(C3640-IK8S-M), Version 12.2(12)

(C5400-IS-M), Version 12.2(2)XB5

(C5300-IS-M), Version 12.2(10a)

Has anybody an Idea????

Martin

I read the following that might help. Although it states how to increase the output offered, i guess you could simply decrease the values to limit, or effectively clear the output also.

"By default, the call history information is retained for only the last 15mins.

You can increase the time before entries are deleted with the call-history-mib retain-timer [mins] command. You can also increase the number of entries that are retained to up to 500 entries with the call-history-mib max-size [mins] command.

Both are global config commands".

Thanks for your help!!

With this Information you get me on the right path so I researched and I got more Information:

----

You can't clear it, but you can adjust the retain timer to have

it stay for 1 day exactly (3600 minutes).

Or one way to have it clear is to

-read table

-adjust retain time to 1

-wait 1 minute

-adjust retain time to 3600

----
