Solved: How can I make ringing for the second call on the IP phone ?

I have two DNs(1111 and 2222) on the 7960 IP phone. I want to ringing on the phone for the second call when the first DN busy. now, the second call displays on the IP phone as flashing with "((-" on the right side of DN number.

How can I make ringing for the second call when first DN busy ?

Go the configuration screen for the phone. (Not sure which version of CCM you're running). Select the line in question (1111 or 2222), at the bottom of the line configuration screen there are two paramaters:

"Ring Setting Phone Active"

"Ring Setting Phone Idle"

Set the phone active paramater to "Ring"

Should do the trick. BTW..this is in CCM3.3(2)
