Hi all
i been trying to deploy ATA 186 behind NAT
but i never get any information in the Google and here also
did one is succeeded in the same
i tried using Linux server with iptables but no luck
second i tried cisco 2501 as a nat server, still no luck
any one could help will appriciate.

I really think it depends on how you are using the ATA. Are you using it as h.323, skinny, MGCP, or SIP gateway. You will need to make sure your NAT device supports what ever signally protocol that you are using.

You have to define several things:
1. The NATIP should be you public IP Address of your NAT server. Thats the IP address that the world sees you.
2. The NAT port number.
Once you done that, you will have to define port forwarding on your NAT router. Basically every time that you receive sessions heading for that port you will forward that to your internal NAT base ATA IP address.
