How Do I???

Hi new to cisco CCM, when I try to dial an outside number, I do not have enough time to complete my call, interoffice ext's work fine. How can I increase the dial time for making outside calls??

Thanks

Re: How Do I???

you need to increase the 'interDigit timeout' in callManager administration.

this is the 'T302 Timer' that is set in the following location:

ccmAdmin>service>serviceParameters>'ccmServer'>callManagerSvc>clusterwideParameters(device-general)>T302 Timer

the parameter is in milliseconds and the default is 15000 msec (15 seconds)

if you adjust this timer, it will allow you to increase or decrease the interdigit timeout which is used to tell callManager when you've completed pressing digits. (if an interdigit timeout occurs, callManager attempts to find a 'best match' route pattern for the digits that have been entered upto the timeout occurance)
