How many POTS lines can this 2911-SRST handle?

Hello folks, few questions on this:

a) How many interfaces (ports) does the router below have to let me connect POTS lines for SRST? That is not clear from the list of materials. I looked up the document and it talks about (3) RJ-45 ports... I would appreciate if you can help confirm number of ports.

b) How many maximum POTS lines can such router below handle for SRST?

c) I need this router to hanlde up to 34 registered VoIP users via SRST in a branch in case the primary MPLS circuit goes kaput. For that reason I put a PVDM3-16U64.

Are you asking about analog FXO or ISDN PRI circuits ?

There are no FXO ports in the list above.

So let's say if I add that to the router:

Question:

1) If I have 4 POTS line in the branch office connected to the 2911 to handle SRST, does it mean maximum number of concurrent calls is limited to the number of POTS line right? In this case, even if I have PVDMs and SRST licenses to support over 40 users, is it right that the 4 POTS lines are giving me maximum of 4 concurrent connections?

Yes.

But in the list above there are E1/T1 interfaces to support many more calls. You don't need these unless you lease the corresponding service from telco.

Thanks Paolo. I put the T1 there for our management to see costs to support MPLS in case we need it.

For data only T1,  use HWIC-1DSU-T1 that is more economical.
