How many voice ports can a 1750 support on a single VWIC?

I have seen some conflicting numbers on how many voice ports I can support on a single VWIC on a 1750 router. I have a 1750 with two VWICs, but I'd like to use one of the slots used by one of the VWICs to install a BRI module, and still support 4 phones.

Thanks

The 1750 has three slots, out of which a max of two can have voice interface cards. You can install a VIC BRI in one and a VIC FXS in the other and it will work, provided you have enough dsps on the router to support the number of voice channels you want.

There are newer cards coming out that have 4FXS ports or 4FXO ports on the same VIC, look for those sometime end of this month.

Hope this helps.
