I have got a softphone running over a VPN network. Does anybode now the theoretical bandwith a call takes at the G711 codec and the G729 codec?
The properties of the VPN connection:
-transparrant tunneling with alow IPSEC over UDP (NAT/PAT)

If I remember correctly, a G711 call over an IPSEC tunnel is about 112kbps, while a G729 call is about 54kbps.
