Is it possible to use some sort of tool to copy a voice mail file that resides in one of our user's mailboxes in Unity voice and attach it to a customer's file that we've created in unix?
We're mainly a unix shop, with a small set of Windows servers, but none of them have Exchange at this time. We are in the process of aquiring the Cisco IP phone system.
Is it true that with Unity Voice users can check voicemail on their phones, but it is not provided for them on email as well, unless we have Unified Messaging instead? And if we go with Unified Messaging, will we need to have another Exchange server set up to store those messages to manipulate them?
If this is true, is it possible to start with Unity Voice first, and then upgrade to Unified later on to copy voicemail files to our customer's documents?
And last, is it true that a voicemail is in an .stm format and not a .wav format?
