unity 3.15 and tts3000 engine. Customer is not happy with the voice. How can we change to a different person's voice?
Thanks.

The L&H 3000 engine is terrible, yes. It sounds like the old original SoundBlaster demo program, "Dr. Sbaitso" or whatever it is.
Unity 3.1(5) and above, when purchased as a /new/ installation, comes with the Realspeak TTS engine, which is far better. Upgrades from older versions to 3.1(5), however, do not include the engine.
There is a registry hack (see below URL) to change it to a different voice, but it's unlikely to change the quality much for the better. You actually have both engines on your install media; your licensing determines which one gets installed. Check the Key Dump utility to see what you're licensed for.

If the customer has to have the Realspeak engine, and they're not licensed for it, I believe they have to pay for the upgrade.

One Cisco document indicates that if we upgrade unity UM from version 3.1x to unity 4.x ,it'll have realspeaker engine without purchase, even it was TTS3000. Is this true?
Thanks
